Current and comprehensive this series title, Native Americans and the U.S. Government, provides teenagers with a strong overview of Native American Life in the 21st century and their dealings with the government. This title focuses on the many negotiations and legal issues that have effected Native Americans in terms of land ownership, past treaties, reservation protection and privacy, and reservation casinos. Series has been developed to address many of the Common Core specific goals, higher level thinking skills, and progressive learning strategies for middle grade and junior high level students.
