After the death of her mother, Libby Winters lives with her father, Bent. A former soldier turned policeman, Bent often works nights, leaving Libby under her auntsa�TM care. Shuffling back and forth between apartments has Libby wishing for a home of her own. When Quinn Ellisa�TM husband, John, goes missing, Quinn finds herself living in the first-floor apartment of the Winters' house. Bent had served as her husbanda�TMs former platoon leader.
